It’s been a big year for us at 1st Call Gas and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far.
Our workload has doubled as we continue to help even more customers with their heating and plumbing needs; as a result we’ve expanded our team to include 17 experienced engineers, six office staff and two apprentices.
With a growing workforce (and plans to get even bigger), we’ve decided to move to new premises with spacious offices in the business complex at Westbrook Court, Sharrow Vale Road in Sheffield. Joining us at this location is a quality control manager Martyn Hedley, who with 46 years in the industry will be ensuring the high standards we’ve become known for remain in place as the company expands further.
As a part of our ambitious growth plans, 1st Call Gas is now seeking to tender larger contract work such as social housing businesses and housing associations. The core of our business will remain domestic customers, many of whom have been with us since we started back in 2004.
“Our customers are pleased with our punctuality and that we do a good job for them at the right price,” says Leon Stones, co-founder of 1st Call Gas. “We have enjoyed a sustainable, steady growth and we know people are happy with us because they come back to us, usually when they move home. Some customers have moved three times and we have fitted three boilers for them.”
